Terms of Service

Last updated: August 1, 2026

The terms on which you can use Meeti Me in Canada to find a salon and book an appointment, including what we do, what the salon does, and how to complain.

1. Introduction

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and DOKUMENT.PL sp. z o.o. ("we", "us", "our"), a limited liability company incorporated in Poland, with its registered office at Aleja Stanow Zjednoczonych 51 lok. 222, 04-028 Warszawa, Poland, tax identification number (NIP) 5242982251 and court register number (KRS) 0001055336.

They govern your use of Meeti Me (the "Platform"), available at meeti.me and through our mobile applications, to find a salon and book an appointment.

We are a foreign operator: we are established in the European Union and we serve users in Canada from there. Our Privacy Policy explains what this means for your personal information.

By creating an account or making a booking, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the Platform.

Your consumer rights are not affected. Consumer protection in Canada is provincial. The consumer protection legislation of the province or territory where you ordinarily reside applies to you, and nothing in these Terms limits, waives or overrides a right that legislation gives you. Where a provision of these Terms conflicts with a mandatory rule of your provincial law, that rule prevails and the rest of these Terms continue to apply.

Version: 2026-08-01. Effective date: 2026-08-01.

2. Definitions

Platform means Meeti Me, including the public marketplace, our mobile applications and the notifications we send.

Salon means the independent business, such as a salon, barbershop, spa or clinic, that publishes a page on the Platform and provides services to you.

Salon Services means the beauty, grooming or wellness service the Salon provides: a haircut, a manicure, a treatment and so on.

Booking means an appointment slot reserved for you and confirmed by the Salon.

Account means your personal account on the Platform.

Review means the rating and comment you leave about a Salon after a visit.

3. What the Platform is, and what it is not

The Platform is an information and booking tool. We display information that Salons publish about themselves and give you a way to reserve a time.

What we do

  • show you Salons, their services, their published prices and their available times, based on what each Salon tells us;
  • pass your booking request to the Salon and tell you whether it was confirmed;
  • send you transactional messages: confirmations, reminders, changes and cancellations;
  • keep your booking history in your Account;
  • let you leave a Review after a visit, and moderate Reviews under published rules.

What we do not do

  • We do not provide the Salon Services. The Salon provides them, with its own staff, at its own premises, using its own products, under its own professional and legal responsibility. We are not a salon.
  • We do not set prices. Each Salon sets its own. A price shown on the Platform is the Salon's own published estimate and the final amount may differ depending on the actual work performed.
  • We are not a party to your appointment. The contract for the Salon Services is between you and the Salon. We are not a party to it, not a guarantor of it, and not the Salon's agent, broker, partner or employee.
  • We do not take payment for the Salon Services. You pay the Salon directly. See section 6.
  • We do not verify the credentials of individual staff members, unless a specific feature says otherwise in its own description.

The Platform is free for you. We are paid by Salons for a software subscription. We do not charge you a booking fee, a service fee or a membership fee, and we will not start charging you one without telling you in advance and asking you to agree.

4. Your Account

You can browse the Platform without an account. To book, you either create an Account or, where the interface allows it, book as a guest by giving your name and contact details.

To create an Account you provide a name, an email address or mobile number, and a password. Give accurate details and keep them current: if your phone number is wrong, the Salon cannot reach you when something changes.

Age. You must be at least 16 years old to hold an Account. If you are booking for a child, do it from your own Account as the parent or guardian, and give the Salon only the information it genuinely needs.

Security. Your Account is personal. Do not share your password or one-time codes. If you think someone else has access, change your password and tell us at meetime.company@gmail.com.

Closing your Account. You can delete your Account at any time in settings, or by writing to meetime.company@gmail.com. There is no fee, no notice period and no cancellation charge. Deleting your Account does not automatically cancel appointments you have already booked, so cancel those separately or tell the Salon.

5. Booking, changing and cancelling an appointment

Making a booking. You choose a Salon, a service, a date and an available time, and confirm. Your request goes to the Salon.

Confirmation. A Booking exists once you receive a confirmation from the Platform or the Salon. Some Salons confirm automatically; others confirm manually. Until the Salon confirms, no appointment contract exists.

We cannot guarantee that a displayed time is genuinely free: the Salon maintains its own calendar and, occasionally, a conflict occurs. If that happens we tell you as soon as we know and offer whatever alternative the Salon has.

Changing or cancelling. You can cancel or reschedule from your Account or from the link in your confirmation email. Please do it as early as you can: a time you do not release is a time the Salon cannot offer to anyone else.

The Salon's own cancellation policy applies. Each Salon sets its own rules on how far in advance a cancellation is free, what it charges for a late cancellation or a no-show, and how it handles late arrival. Those rules are shown on the Salon's page and again before you confirm a Booking. When you confirm, you are agreeing to that Salon's rules for that appointment.

Any late cancellation or no-show charge is a claim by the Salon against you, under your contract with the Salon and subject to your provincial consumer protection law. We do not charge it, we do not collect it and we do not hold your money. If you believe a charge is unfair or unlawful, take it up with the Salon, and tell us at meetime.company@gmail.com so we can look at the Salon's conduct.

If the Salon cancels. A Salon may need to cancel or move an appointment. It must tell you promptly and we will pass on the message through the channels you have enabled. We are not responsible for a Salon's cancellation or for what it costs you.

If something goes wrong. Contact the Salon first: it is the party that owes you the service. If that does not resolve it, write to meetime.company@gmail.com. We cannot decide the dispute for you, but we will record it, raise it with the Salon, and take a pattern of complaints into account when deciding whether the Salon stays on the Platform.

6. Payment goes to the Salon, not to us

You pay the Salon directly, in the way that Salon offers, usually in person at the time of the appointment.

We do not collect, hold, process or remit money for Salon Services. We are not a payment processor, an escrow agent or an intermediary for your payment.

The receipt or invoice for the appointment comes from the Salon. Questions about the amount charged, taxes on that amount, a refund or a price adjustment are for the Salon to answer.

Prices displayed on the Platform are in CAD and are provided by the Salon. The final amount can differ from the displayed estimate depending on the actual service performed, hair length, products used and similar factors. The Salon must tell you the final price before starting the service, as provincial consumer protection law generally requires.

Tax on the Salon Services, where it applies, is charged and remitted by the Salon, not by us.

If a Salon asks for a deposit or prepayment, it does so outside the Platform, on its own terms. We are not a party to that arrangement and cannot refund it. Check the Salon's terms before you pay a deposit.

7. Reviews

Reviews help other people choose. We want them to be genuine, so we run them under clear rules.

Who can leave one. Only a registered user with a confirmed, completed Booking at that Salon made through the Platform. We send an invitation to review after the appointment date. One visit, one Review.

How we verify that a Review comes from a real visit. We match every Review against our booking records: there must be a confirmed Booking for that user at that Salon, marked as attended, on a past date. The Salon marks attendance. A Review we cannot match to a completed visit is not published. We do not accept anonymous Reviews from people with no Booking, and Salons cannot buy, commission or incentivise Reviews. A Salon that tries to do so is in breach of its own agreement with us.

If a Salon marked you as a no-show but you did attend, tell us at meetime.company@gmail.com. We will check and, where the record is wrong, restore your ability to review.

Moderation rules. We do not publish, and we remove, a Review that contains:

  • profanity, insults, threats or incitement to violence;
  • discriminatory content based on sex, gender identity, age, race, ethnic origin, religion, disability, health status, sexual orientation or any other protected ground;
  • personal information about another individual, such as a staff member's name together with their contact details, phone numbers, addresses, or photographs of identifiable people posted without consent;
  • health information about another person;
  • advertising, spam or links to unrelated commercial sites;
  • content unrelated to the visit or to the Salon;
  • statements of fact that are demonstrably false;
  • content posted by a competitor, by staff of the Salon, or by someone connected to the Salon.

A low rating is not a reason for removal. A negative Review that is honest, relevant and civil stays up, whatever the Salon says.

Challenges by Salons. A Salon may challenge a Review by sending us reasons. We decide within 14 days. The Review stays visible while we decide, unless the breach is obvious, such as profanity, threats or another person's personal information, in which case we hide it temporarily.

Your right to challenge a removal. If we decline to publish or we remove your Review, we tell you, and we tell you which rule we relied on. You can object by writing to meetime.company@gmail.com within 30 days. A different member of our team reviews the decision afresh and gives you a reasoned answer within 14 days. If your objection succeeds, we restore the Review.

Salon replies. A Salon may reply publicly to a Review. Replies are subject to the same moderation rules.

Your content stays yours. By posting a Review you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty free licence to display it on the Platform and in material promoting the Platform, alongside the display name shown on your Account. You can ask us to remove your own Review at any time.

8. Things you must not do

When using the Platform you must not:

  • make Bookings you do not intend to keep, or block out slots;
  • open multiple Accounts to get around a limit, a suspension or a block;
  • impersonate anyone, or use someone else's contact details;
  • enter information you know to be false;
  • use bots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Platform, harvest data, create Bookings or post Reviews;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, to another user's Account or to a Salon's systems, probe for vulnerabilities without our permission, or bypass a technical control;
  • upload malicious code or place unreasonable load on the service;
  • use the Platform to advertise, to spam, or to recruit Salon staff;
  • infringe the intellectual property of ours, a Salon's or anyone else's;
  • harass, abuse or threaten Salon staff or other users.

What happens if you do. Depending on how serious it is, we may warn you, hide a Review, limit your ability to book, or suspend or close your Account.

We tell you why, and you can object at meetime.company@gmail.com. We answer an objection within 14 days. We act without warning only for serious matters such as attempted intrusion, fraud or threats to a person's safety.

9. Responsibility and liability

What the Salon is responsible for. The Salon alone is responsible for: the quality and safety of the service it provides; the training and credentials of its staff; the products and equipment it uses; hygiene and sanitation; the accuracy of its published description, prices, photographs and hours; honouring confirmed Bookings; any injury or damage caused while providing the service; and issuing your receipt. Your rights under your provincial consumer protection legislation in respect of the service are exercised against the Salon, as the supplier.

What we are responsible for. We are responsible for the Platform itself: for making it available, for passing your Booking request to the Salon, for moderating Reviews under the rules in section 7, and for handling your personal information as described in our Privacy Policy.

What we are not responsible for. We are not responsible for:

  • the accuracy of what a Salon publishes, including prices, descriptions, hours and photographs;
  • a Salon's acts or omissions, including cancelling, running late or refusing service;
  • the quality, safety or outcome of any Salon Service;
  • money passing between you and a Salon, including deposits and no-show charges;
  • the content of Reviews written by other users;
  • unavailability of the Platform caused by matters outside our reasonable control, such as network failures, infrastructure provider outages, power failures, government orders or denial of service attacks.

Limits. To the maximum extent permitted by the law of your province, our total liability to you arising out of or relating to the Platform is limited to your direct, proven damages, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost opportunity.

What we never limit. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for:

  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
  • our wilful misconduct or gross negligence;
  • any breach of privacy legislation applicable to us;
  • any right or remedy that your provincial consumer protection legislation says cannot be waived, restricted or excluded, including any statutory warranty or any right to a remedy for a misleading representation.

Some provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In those provinces, the limits above apply only to the extent the law permits, and your statutory rights are unaffected.

10. Your personal information

We handle your personal information in accordance with PIPEDA and the substantially similar privacy legislation of your province, including Quebec's Law 25 where it applies.

The full explanation is in our Privacy Policy, published at meeti.me. It forms part of these Terms and covers what we collect, why, who we share it with, that it is stored outside Canada, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.

In short: we collect your account details and booking details so we can create the Booking and give the Salon what it needs to receive you. The Salon receives your name, contact details, the service, the time and any note you added.

We are accountable for your Account and the Platform. The Salon is accountable for the notes it keeps about you in its own client file, and we hold those on the Salon's behalf.

Marketing messages. Transactional messages such as confirmations, reminders and cancellations are part of the service. We send marketing messages only with your express consent, as CASL requires, and every one of them carries a working unsubscribe link that we honour without delay and in any event within 10 business days. A Salon that sends you its own newsletter through the Platform is the sender of that message and is responsible for its own CASL compliance.

Requests about your personal information go to meetime.company@gmail.com or to our privacy officer at meetime.company@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days.

11. Complaints and how long we take

If something is wrong, tell us. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

Where to write

| Subject | Address | | --- | --- | | A problem with the Platform, an error, access to your Account | meetime.company@gmail.com | | A formal complaint, a notice, a legal matter | meetime.company@gmail.com | | Your personal information | meetime.company@gmail.com |

What to include. Your name and contact details, the date and time, the Salon and the booking reference if the complaint concerns an appointment, what went wrong, and what you would like us to do.

Our deadlines. We acknowledge your complaint within 2 business days. We give you a reasoned answer within 30 days of receiving it. If we need longer, we will tell you before the 30 days are up, explain why and give a new date. Complaining costs you nothing.

Complaints about a Salon's service. The Salon handles those, because the Salon provided the service. We will pass your complaint on and stay in the loop if you want us to. We cannot order a Salon to refund you or rebook you. We do record every complaint, and a Salon with a pattern of them may be removed from the Platform.

Other routes are always open. You may also contact the consumer protection office of your province or territory, or take the matter to court. Complaining to us first is not a precondition for either, and it does not shorten any limitation period or take away any other remedy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms to reflect changes to the Platform or to the law.

For any significant change we give you at least 30 days' notice, by email to the address on your Account and by a notice inside the Platform, stating what is changing and when.

If you do not accept a change, stop using the Platform and delete your Account before the change takes effect. There is no charge for doing so. Continuing to use the Platform after the effective date means you accept the new version.

Confirmed Bookings are not affected. An appointment you have already booked continues to be governed by the version of these Terms in force when you booked it.

Where your provincial law requires your express agreement to a change, we will ask for it rather than assume it.

The current version is always published at meeti.me with its version number and effective date. Previous versions are archived and available on request.

13. No renewal traps

We want to be explicit about this, because it is a common complaint about online services.

  • The Platform is free for consumers. There is no subscription, no membership and no recurring charge of any kind on your Account.
  • We do not enrol you in anything automatically. We will not convert a free feature into a paid one, or start a paid plan for you, without asking you first and getting your express agreement.
  • If we ever introduce a paid consumer feature, we will state the price, the billing period and the renewal date before you agree, we will send you a reminder before each renewal, and we will let you cancel at any time from your Account in a few clicks, without calling us, without explaining yourself and without a cancellation fee.
  • Closing your Account is free and immediate, and it is done from settings.
  • We do not store your card details for consumer use, because we do not charge you.

Deposits or prepayments some Salons require are the Salon's own arrangement, outside the Platform, and this section does not cover them.

14. Governing law, disputes and general

Governing law. These Terms are governed by law of the province or territory of your residence. Because consumer protection in Canada is provincial, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the province or territory where you ordinarily reside apply to you regardless of this choice, and this clause does not deprive you of their protection.

Courts. Disputes are subject to courts of the province or territory of your residence. This does not prevent you from bringing proceedings in the courts of the province or territory where you reside, where your provincial law gives you that right, including in small claims court.

Talk to us first, if you can. Before starting proceedings, please send a written notice to meetime.company@gmail.com describing the problem and what you want. We answer with reasons within 30 days. This is a request, not a condition, and it does not limit any right you have.

Notices. We send notices to the email address on your Account and, where these Terms require it, also inside the Platform. Send notices to us at meetime.company@gmail.com or by post to DOKUMENT.PL sp. z o.o., Aleja Stanow Zjednoczonych 51 lok. 222, 04-028 Warszawa, Poland.

Assignment. You may not transfer your Account. We may assign these Terms to a successor in a merger, reorganisation or sale of the business, on notice to you, and without reducing your rights.

Severability. If a provision is held unenforceable, the rest of these Terms continue in force and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary.

No waiver. If we do not enforce a provision, we have not given it up.

Intellectual property. The Platform, its code, design, interfaces, trade marks and domain names belong to us. You get the right to use the Platform for its intended purpose and nothing more.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, are the whole agreement between you and us about the Platform.

Language. The parties have required that these Terms and all related documents be drawn up in English. *Les parties ont exigé que les présentes conditions et tous les documents connexes soient rédigés en anglais.*

---

These Terms of Service exist in English and in French. The English and French versions are equally authoritative, and neither version prevails over the other.
