Marketplace Terms of Use for Clients

Last updated: August 1, 2026

A public offer explaining how to use the Meeti Me marketplace to find salons and book appointments, the role the platform plays, and the rights you have as a consumer under EU consumer law (including Directive 2011/83/EU) and the mandatory rules of your country of residence.

1. General provisions

This document is the terms of service for the electronic provision of services by DOKUMENT.PL sp. z o.o. (the "Operator", "we") to any person using the Meeti Me marketplace (the "Platform"), available at meeti.me and in the mobile apps.

The Operator is a company registered in the Republic of Poland, address: Aleja Stanow Zjednoczonych 51 lok. 222, 04-028 Warszawa, Poland, VAT/NIP: 5242982251, court register (KRS): 0001055336, REGON: 526237551, share capital: 5 000,00 PLN.

The agreement to use the Platform is concluded electronically. If you are a consumer, you enjoy the safeguards of EU consumer law — including Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights and Directive 2000/31/EC on electronic commerce — and the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of habitual residence. No provision of these Terms may be read as limiting those rights; a provision that conflicts with a mandatory rule of law yields to that rule. The Operator is established in Poland; Polish law applies only to the extent that it does not deprive you of the protection granted by the mandatory rules of your country of residence.

2. Definitions

Platform – the public part of the Meeti Me service where you can find a salon, browse its services and book an appointment.

Salon – a business (a legal entity or a sole trader) that has published its page on the Platform and provides beauty, care or wellness services.

Client, you – a natural person using the Platform.

Booking – a time slot reserved for a service and confirmed by the Salon.

Salon service – the service the Salon provides directly to you: a haircut, a manicure, a cosmetic treatment and so on.

Account – your user account on the Platform.

Review – the rating and written comment you leave about a Salon after a visit.

3. What the Platform is, and what it is not

The Platform is an information and technology service. We present information about Salons and give you the technical means to reserve a time slot.

What we do:

  • present the list of Salons, their services, prices and free slots based on the information the Salons themselves provide;
  • pass your booking request to the Salon and inform you of its status;
  • send service notifications: confirmations, reminders, change or cancellation notices;
  • keep the history of your appointments in your Account;
  • let you leave a review of a visit.

What we do NOT do:

  • we do not provide beauty, care or wellness services. The service is provided by the Salon, with its own staff, on its own equipment and under its own responsibility;
  • we do not set prices. Prices are set by the Salon alone. The price shown on the Platform is indicative and depends on the actual scope of work determined on site;
  • we are not a party to the agreement between you and the Salon. The service agreement is concluded directly between you and the Salon;
  • we do not take payment for the Salon's services. Settlement takes place directly between you and the Salon, as a rule on site;
  • we are not the Salon's agent or representative and do not act on its behalf;
  • we do not verify the qualifications of individual staff, unless a feature's description states otherwise.

Using the Platform is free of charge for you. We are paid by the Salons for subscription access to our software, not by you.

4. Creating an Account

You can book after creating an Account or, where the interface allows, without registration by giving your name and contact details.

Creating an Account requires: a name or nickname, an email address or phone number, and a password. You undertake to give accurate details and keep them up to date: with a wrong phone number the Salon will not be able to reach you.

An Account may be created by a person aged 16 or over. If the appointment is for a minor, a parent or other legal guardian makes the booking from their own Account.

The Account is personal. Do not share your password or one-time confirmation codes with anyone. If you believe an unauthorised person has accessed your Account, change your password immediately and notify us at meetime.company@gmail.com.

You can delete your Account at any time in the settings or by writing to meetime.company@gmail.com. Deleting the Account does not automatically cancel bookings already confirmed: cancel them separately or notify the Salon.

5. Booking, changing and cancelling an appointment

Placing a booking. You choose a Salon, a service, a date and a time from the free slots and confirm the request. The request is passed to the Salon.

Confirmation. A booking is made once you receive confirmation from the Platform or the Salon. Some Salons confirm bookings automatically, others manually. If the Salon has not confirmed the request, the service agreement is not concluded.

We do not guarantee that a chosen slot is available: the calendar is kept by the Salon and, in rare cases, a booking clash is possible. If a slot turns out to be unavailable, we will tell you as soon as possible and suggest an available alternative.

Change and cancellation by you. You can cancel or reschedule in your Account or through the link in the confirmation message. Please do so in good time: a slot you do not free up cannot be offered by the Salon to another client.

The Salon's rules prevail. Each Salon sets its own cancellation, rescheduling and lateness rules: how far in advance a cancellation is free, any fee for a late cancellation or no-show, and what happens if you are late. These rules are shown on the Salon's page and before you confirm a booking. By booking, you accept the rules of that particular Salon.

Any fee for a late cancellation or no-show is a claim of the Salon against you, not ours. We neither charge nor retain such amounts.

Cancellation by the Salon. The Salon may cancel or reschedule, in particular because of staff illness or technical reasons. The Salon must notify you without delay. We will pass such a notice to you through the available channels, but we are not liable for the consequences of a cancellation by the Salon.

If a visit did not happen through the Salon's fault. Contact the Salon first. If it cannot be resolved, write to us at meetime.company@gmail.com: we cannot settle the dispute for you, but we will record the report, approach the Salon and take it into account when assessing its continued presence on the Platform.

6. Payment for the Salon's services

Payment for the service is made directly to the Salon, as a rule in cash or by card on site, in the manner set by the Salon.

We do not accept, hold or transfer funds for the Salons' services. We are not a payment intermediary in your relationship with the Salon.

The settlement document (a receipt or fiscal receipt) is issued by the Salon. Questions about the document, the amount, a refund or a recalculation are resolved with the Salon.

The price shown on the Platform is information supplied by the Salon. The final cost may differ depending on the actual scope of work, hair length, materials used and other circumstances. The Salon must inform you of the final cost before the service begins.

If a Salon requires prepayment or a deposit, it does so off the Platform under its own rules. We are not a party to such settlements.

7. Reviews

Reviews help other clients choose a Salon. We want them to be truthful.

Who may leave a review. Only a registered client with a confirmed, completed appointment at that Salon, made through the Platform, may leave a review. The invitation to review is sent after the visit date. One visit – one review.

How we check that a review relates to a real visit. We match the review against the record in the system: a confirmed booking, the "completed" status and a matching date. The Salon marks the client's actual attendance. Reviews that cannot be tied to a visit are not published. We do not accept anonymous reviews from people without a booking and do not allow Salons to buy or order reviews.

If a Salon marked you as a no-show but the visit did take place, notify us at meetime.company@gmail.com: we will check and restore your ability to leave a review.

Moderation rules. A review is not published, or is removed, if it contains:

  • profanity, insults, threats or incitement to violence;
  • discriminatory statements based on sex, age, race, ethnic origin, religion, health, sexual orientation or any other characteristic;
  • personal data of third parties: staff names combined with their contact details, phone numbers, addresses, photos of people without their consent;
  • information about the health of other people;
  • advertising, spam, links to external commercial resources;
  • information unrelated to the visit or to the Salon itself;
  • statements that are manifestly untrue and that you cannot substantiate;
  • a review left by a competitor, a Salon employee or a related person.

An "unsatisfactory" rating is not in itself a ground for removal. We do not remove a negative but truthful and properly worded review at the Salon's request.

How disputes are handled. A Salon may challenge a review by sending a reasoned request. We consider it within 14 calendar days. Until then the review stays published, except for a clear breach (profanity, third-party personal data, threats), when it is hidden temporarily.

Your right to appeal a removal. If we did not publish or removed your review, we tell you and state the ground. You may appeal by sending an objection to meetime.company@gmail.com within 30 calendar days. We will reconsider it, with a different member of staff, and give a reasoned reply within 14 calendar days. If the appeal succeeds, the review is restored.

The Salon may reply to a review publicly. The Salon's reply is subject to the same moderation rules.

You remain the author of your review. By publishing it, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display it on the Platform and in materials promoting the Platform, showing your name or nickname as it appears on your Account.

8. Prohibited conduct

When using the Platform, you undertake not to:

  • make bookings with no intention of attending, in particular blocking slots in bulk;
  • create multiple Accounts to bypass limits or a block;
  • impersonate another person or use someone else's contact details;
  • enter knowingly false information;
  • use automated tools to access the Platform, harvest data in bulk (scraping), create bookings or post reviews;
  • attempt unauthorised access to the Platform, other users' Accounts or Salons' systems, probe for vulnerabilities without our permission, or circumvent technical limits;
  • upload malicious code or place an excessive load on the service;
  • use the Platform to advertise third-party services, send spam or recruit Salon staff;
  • infringe the intellectual property rights of the Operator, the Salons or third parties;
  • harass, insult or threaten Salon staff or other users.

If you breach these rules we may, depending on the severity, warn you, hide your review, limit your ability to book, or temporarily suspend or block your Account.

We notify you of a restriction and state the ground. You may appeal at meetime.company@gmail.com; we will consider the objection within 14 calendar days. An immediate block without prior warning is applied only for gross breaches: hacking attempts, fraud, threats.

9. Liability

What the Salon is responsible for. The Salon is solely and fully responsible for: the quality and safety of the service performed, the qualifications of its staff, the materials and products used, compliance with hygiene requirements, the accuracy of service descriptions and prices, honouring confirmed bookings, any harm to your health or property caused while performing the service, and the issuing of settlement documents.

Complaints about the service are addressed to the Salon. You exercise your consumer rights for a service not in conformity with the contract against the Salon as the provider.

What we are responsible for. We are responsible for the operation of the Platform: for its availability, for passing your booking request to the Salon, and for processing your data in line with the Privacy Policy.

We are not responsible for:

  • the accuracy of information posted by the Salon (prices, descriptions, opening hours, photos);
  • the acts or omissions of the Salon, in particular a cancelled booking, lateness or a refusal to serve a client;
  • the quality of the Salon's services and the consequences of providing them;
  • settlements between you and the Salon;
  • the content of reviews left by other users;
  • unavailability of the Platform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control: failures of communication channels, acts of infrastructure providers, power outages, force majeure, acts of public authorities, denial-of-service attacks.

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for damage caused by a malfunction of the Platform is limited to actual, documented loss.

The limitations of liability do not apply to damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, to damage to life or health, to liability for breach of data-protection law, or in any other case where mandatory law does not permit limiting liability towards a consumer.

10. Personal data

We process your personal data in accordance with the GDPR. The full description is in the Privacy Policy available at meeti.me.

In short: we collect Account data and booking data in order to create the appointment and pass to the Salon the information it needs to serve you. The Salon receives your name, contact details, chosen service, date and time and your comment.

For Account data and the operation of the Platform, the Operator is the data controller. For the notes a Salon keeps about you in its own records, the Salon is the controller and we act as a processor.

Service notifications (confirmations, reminders, cancellations) are part of the service. Marketing messages are sent only with your separate consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Send requests about your data to meetime.company@gmail.com or meetime.company@gmail.com. We reply within one month. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority: the data protection authority of your country of residence (edpb.europa.eu).

11. Right to withdraw within 14 days

Consumer-protection law grants a consumer the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason.

As to the agreement with us. The agreement to use the Platform is free of charge for you. You may end it at any time by deleting your Account, with no fee and without giving a reason. A separate withdrawal procedure is not needed.

As to the booking at a Salon. A booking is not a separate paid contract with us: the service agreement is between you and the Salon. Cancelling a booking follows the procedure in section 5, subject to the rules of the particular Salon.

Important statutory exception. The 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply, among others, to contracts for the provision of services connected with leisure or events if the contract specifies a day or period of performance. A beauty service booked for a set date and time generally falls into this category. This means that once the appointment date has passed you cannot claim a refund on the basis of the right of withdrawal.

In addition, if performance of the service began with your express prior consent and the service has been fully performed, the right of withdrawal also does not apply.

These limitations concern your relationship with the Salon. The specific cancellation and prepayment-refund terms are set by the Salon in its rules. This does not deprive you of the right to require the Salon to remedy a defect, reduce the price or compensate you if the service was performed improperly: those rights arise by law and are not limited by this section.

12. Complaints and response times

If you are unhappy with how the Platform works, write to us. We want to fix the matter, not argue.

Where to turn:

  • service operation, errors, Account access: meetime.company@gmail.com
  • a formal complaint, ending the agreement, legal matters: meetime.company@gmail.com
  • personal data: meetime.company@gmail.com

What to include: your name and contact details, the date and time of the event, the Salon's name and the booking number (if the report concerns a booking), a description of the problem and what you expect from us.

Time limits. We acknowledge a report within 2 business days. We give a reasoned reply on the merits within 14 calendar days of receiving the report. If handling it needs more time, we will tell you before that deadline, stating the reason and the expected new deadline.

Handling a report is free of charge.

Complaints about a Salon's service are handled by the Salon. We will pass the report to the Salon and, if you wish, stay in touch. We have no power to compel a Salon to refund or reschedule, but systematic breaches are taken into account when deciding on the Salon's continued presence on the Platform.

Out-of-court dispute resolution. As a consumer you may use out-of-court complaint and redress procedures, including the EU online dispute resolution (ODR) platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr and the assistance of the competent consumer authority: the data protection authority of your country of residence. Using these routes is voluntary.

13. Changes to the Terms

We may change these Terms where the Platform's functionality or the requirements of law change.

We notify you of material changes by email to the address on your Account and by an in-app message, no later than 14 calendar days before they take effect.

If you disagree with the changes, you may stop using the Platform and delete your Account before they take effect. Continued use after that date means acceptance of the new version.

Changes do not apply to bookings already confirmed: the version in force when the booking was made applies to them.

The current version is always available at meeti.me with its version number and effective date. Previous versions are archived and provided on request.

14. Governing law and dispute resolution

Governing law: law of Poland, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer rules of your country of residence. The choice of law does not deprive you of the protection granted by the mandatory rules of the law of your country of habitual residence.

Disputes are heard by the courts: courts competent for the seat of the operator, without prejudice to the consumer right to sue at their place of residence. This does not deprive you, as a consumer, of the right to bring an action before the court with jurisdiction over your place of residence under the applicable rules.

15. Miscellaneous

If a particular provision of these Terms is found invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. An invalid provision is replaced by the rule of law closest to its meaning.

We may transfer the rights and obligations under the agreement to a legal successor in the event of a reorganisation or sale of the business, notifying you in advance. Your position will not be worsened as a result.

The Platform, its code, design, interfaces, trademarks and domain names belong to the Operator. You are granted the right to use the Platform as intended and acquire no intellectual-property rights.

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding use of the Platform.

This document is drawn up in English (en), Polish (pl) and Ukrainian (uk).

For the EU (European Economic Area outside Poland) region the English (en) version is binding. Polish and Ukrainian translations are provided for convenience only; in case of divergence the English version prevails.
